Mib Software Newsrate Usenet Server Comparisons

How are the expected values derived?

The expected values are taken from a spam-filtered news server, currently newsguy.com, a commercial news service provider. Mib Software is not affiliated with newsguy.com, and newsguy.com is not responsible for any part of newsrAte.

In the future, expected values will be derived using statistical methods to generate a "composite" of many known good servers. This will reduce the chance that a deviation in the "expected" server performance affects the calculated values.

It is possible to receive a report comparing any two servers which you can give permission to access. You can compare two internal servers to each other, or "feeder" to "reader" servers, etc. (See What other services and reports are available?)
