What if some sample newsgroups are not on the server?

newsrAte will still provide valid reports. The report and calculated performance includes only those newsgroups which are in common to both your server and the comparison set. newsrAte can rank a limited news server with only a small subset of sample newsgroups just as well as one with 30,000 newsgroups.
The reported performance will be based on just those newsgroups that are in common.
If your server does not have any of the newsgroups in the sample set (or only has a small number of them), contact newsrate@mibsoftware.com to discuss special arrangements.

Can an estimate be made for newsgroups not sampled?
My server has 30,000 newsgroups. You only report 200.
Why sample these 200 newsgroups, and not some other set?
