Make Money Fast schemes generally rely on a "pyramid" organization to get money to the top of the pyramid from all the lower layers of participants. It generally involves sending cash through the mail, which is always illegal.
These pyramid schemes are really tempting, they come with glowing praise and success stories (which are usually not true), but most importantly:
They DO NOT WORK, and they ARE ILLEGAL.
The most common untruth is that "This is perfectly legal."
If you try one, one of two things will probably happen:
- You won't get any money, and you will get one of the typical reactions of Usenet to
Spam
- You won't get any money, you will get one of the typical reactions of Usenet to
Spam AND you will get investigated by the US Postal service.
